frequently asked questions
All you need to know
1. We like the natural, candid moments but what about the group photographs?
Absolutely I understand these are important to and I will discuss with you the best way to incorporate them into your wedding day. Just because they are staged doesn’t mean they can’t have a relaxed feel to them. Plus I strongly believe in the importance of these legacy photographs. Your children wil look back at them and laugh at all the weird clothing we wore and how why we had pink hair!
2. We would like you to stay longer than 10 hours?
That’s fine with me. If you want me to stay into the night to photograph all the hardcore party dancing I charge £100 per hour.
3. Is travel included?
Yes, I don’t charge any extra for my travel expenses unless your wedding requires overnight accommodation. You don’t want me sitting on motorway somewhere when you’re about to walk down the aisle.
4. Do you travel abroad?
Absolutely, being a confident traveller a wedding abroad is on my bucket list. The wedding cost is the same but with the addition of flights and 1-2 nights accommodation depending on the wedding location. I promise I don’t expect business class or five-star accommodation, just a comfortable bed to ensure I am at my best for the big day.
My husband and I have a massive heart for France so if you’re getting married ina Grand Chateau or rustic barn I’m your photographer!
5. Do you provide albums?
Yes I do. My albums are lovingly designed by me and meticulously created by Folio Albums.
6. When we will receive our photographs?
My aim is 4 – 8 weeks, but I will keep you updated along the way. I’m sure a few little highlights will make their way to you before the full gallery.
7. Are you insured?
Yes, I have full public liability insurance.
8. What happens if you are ill on our wedding day?
This has never happened and unless I’m bed bound I will be there. If I were to be struck by lightning I’m part of a fabulous group of photographers who I can call on at short notice to stand in for me, if they are free. There is no guarantee but we will all do our very best to ensure someone is there to capture your day.
9. Do you have back up equipment if something goes wrong?
Yes I shoot with two Canon 5D cameras and a selection of lenses. As soon as I get home I download all your images onto my Mac, back them up on an external hard drive and send them to my cloud.
10. How soon should we book you?
Now! Dates are nearly full for 2019 and filling up fast for 2020.
