London Couple Photography Shoot | Greenwich Photographer | Sam & Ellen
Greenwich village and park is a perfect backdrop for a London engagement shoot. Particularly if it’s the place you had your first date and continues to create happy memories. I always love to use special and meaningful places for a couple shoot.
A perfect couple
Where do I begin with these two gorgeous girls? Okay, to give you an idea about how in love they both are with each other I will give a quick overview of their proposals.
Sam took Ellen to Tuscany to show her where she lived and studied. Completely unbeknown to Sam, Ellen planned a surprise hot air balloon ride and proposed just as the sun was rising, in Italian, over the rolling hills of Tuscany! Sam not wanting Ellen to miss out being proposed too, hired a private pod on the London Eye, during which she pointed out all the places in London they could see that was special to them! Including Greenwich, which is were we met for their couple shoot.
The photography shoot
One of the most important reasons why I love to do a couple shoot is – it gives me the opportunity to get to know you. How you connect with each other and why you’re in love. It means I can hopefully capture really natural and meaningful photographs that are bursting full of your personalities.
Naturally, everyone feels nervous about having their picture taken. Which is another reason why the shoot is so helpful before your wedding day. Even though Ellen was feeling anxious about being in front of the camera she really didn’t need to worry. They were amazing. They connected beautifully and I loved hearing about their couple journey so far. I literally cannot wait for their wedding in May. I suspect it will be a day filled with lots of emotion and I will be surprised if I manage to escape with dry eyes.
I offer a complimentary shoot to all my couples. Contact me to find out more.

let's get this conversation started
“I can't tell you how much we love the photos. They really are just ‘fantastic’. Looking through them genuinely did take us back through all the excitement and emotions of the day, which was always what we hoped for from wedding pictures! I don't know how you manage to capture so much feeling and sentiment but you did and we have had so much enjoyment looking through them and reliving it all. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job, we couldn't be happier with them! We were overwhelmed with the slideshow too, what a generous and wonderful thing of you to do! It brings shivers down my spine watching it and - we absolutely loved it with the music!! We will really treasure that forever ‘thank you’!”
